HOW DO I MAKE THE MOST OF MY BRAND IN MY FIRST ANNUAL REPORT?
FOCUS ON THE STRONG POINTS THAT DIFFERENTIATE THE BRAND.

CHALLENGE

REITs (real estate investment trusts) are a relatively new investment category to over $500 Billion. Recent market changes – with foreign investments and companies seeking the tax value of the REIT structure – have made the REIT market explode.

However, REITs are an investment world and niche unto their own, with very distinct marketing challenges. Their complexity demands an understanding of SEC rules and market subtleties in order to effectively market.

When Özak wanted to publish their first Annual Report, they had one thing in mind. Their first ever report to be given to investors, it needed to serve not only as a financial data book, but also as a showcase the companies values and what it stands for.

ACTION

We designed an annual report that allowed investors to not just see, but “feel” the core values of Özak, their meticulousness, utter attention to detail and their boldness. The structure of the 2015 report provides a well argued overview of the business and sets out real-life case studies that highlight ÖZAK’s point of difference in the marketplace.

We carried out extensive research that included interviewing staff and customers alike. We re-positioned them with a new brand identity and a look and feel which was rolled out in print and eventually applied to all of their communications materials.

IMPACT

A tactile solution, both through design and choice of materials, the end result is part company brochure, part annual report_ clearly differentiating Özak from it’s peer group, and capturing the culture and the spirit of the company.
