HOW DO I PRESENT MY BRAND FOR MY IPO?
LOOK BEYOND THE SECTOR FOR INSIGHTS.

CHALLENGE

This “new generation” energy company came to us, needing a communication campaign for their IPO. They wanted to differentiate themselves from other energy companies. They were young, brave and with their flexible business model, posessed a refreshing dynamism the rest of the energy sector lacked.

Ironically; none of this was reflected in their brand positioning or identity. Practically indistinguishable from all the other lackluster energy companies, they didn’t know how to reach their target audience; young investors – who were seeking riskier yet high-return investments.

ACTION

We took a step back, and began by redesigning the brand itself. Establishing a new brand identity as well as a core message, we moved onto their IPO strategy, which involved TV, Print and Outdoor campaigns as well as Digital.

The campaign itself was just as dynamic as the brand itself. We created the commercial working with the New York based 3D studio, Smoke.

IMPACT

The radically different approach to an IPO campaign was not only received well, but really helped the brand reach their target investors, with all the shares being sold during the 3 day public offering period.
